this may be in the wrong forum... buttttttt will a preformance chip do anything for my f-250? im going to get a flowmaster 40" and am wondering if the chip will affect the sound any?

You won't notice a difference in sound with the chip. I just added a Diablo Delta to my 4.6 F150. Performance is great. If sound is what you want..get A Powerade Throttlebody Spacer and DJ Motorsports Air Intake with K&N Filter.
