I would like to find out the original, from factory, height of the bottom of the frame at both ends of a 74 EB with full top and V8.
I want to try to find out how much total lift I have.
I have 4" blocks + a rancho add-a-leaf in the rear. The block is easy but I don't remember what the add-a-leaf was. (this was done back in 1991)
The front is 2.5" variable rate coils from James Duff. I swapped them in place of Duffs old style 3" coils. That swap did not change the frame height. Again, the 3" coils were installed back in 1991 and I don't remember the change back then.
The most accurate way to determine lift is to measure between the front bumpstop mount on the axle (on the flat part) to where it would contact the frame. If I remember correctly, a stock measurement is about 3.5- 4".
If your Bronco is level, then the rear lift is usually about 1" less than the front lift. So if you measure that you have a 4" lift, most likely have 3" in the rear if it is level. I can't remember the stock measurement for the rear. Generally you can come up with something close if you can figure out what the front is.
