Some advice, don't waste money on any Internet Job board where you have to pay a fee of any sort.

Search Craigslist for a job in the area you live or would like to live.

Apply to 100s of jobs, kept expense records.

Jeff - thats no fun loosing your job... However, if you haven't already, make a post in the Kansas chapter - would be your best bet at finding a job in your local area

Good luck Jeff on finding the new job, I'm sure you'll hammer one down quickly..

As far as the whiner complaining about big oil...... Get over it man and do yourself a favor and look at the actual profit margin for a change, you'll realize that they're not making as much as your local news is telling you. It's a free market economy and if you look at why fuel prices are so high right now it's because we have to import fuel from the Saudi's,, not crude, but fuel itself. The reason being that environmental whack jobs have a stranglehold on oil companies here, they aren't allowed to build newer more efficient refineries here and can't keep up with the demand. The Middle East doesn't have the same blend requirements as we do here in the US so they can't make it as cheap. If you want to blame someone, blame your politicians who have forced refineries here to use dilapidated outdated equipment which in the long run costs us more at the pumps.
