Pyro Install
I have an 03 6.0L and I spent most of last night installing my guages- Boost, Trans, Pyro. I am having problems installing the Pyro. For some reason I ordered a "clamp" style for a post turbo and I honestly cannot get a 12v drill and my fat hand up there to drill it. I am not able to get the drill at a 90 degree angle to drill. The tap method looks easier and diesel manor will allow me to exchange but I just want to finish the project today. Does anyone have an idea how to do this? I called diesel manor and they said it was easy and he has done it many times...but not on an Excursion. I called a couple diesel performance shops around town and they said they would not do it because of the location?! There is some thermal wrap on the pipe I am suppose to remove and that is challenge. Any help would be great.

Are you using a regular drill. They make a right angle drill and it may fit into the tight area. It's basically a hand grinder size but with a drill chuck on the end instead of a gringing wheel. Look at the link below, these might work....
