I havent yet, dont even know where to go with it, again 9.00 saving is not worth it to me, I would rather do something about it, but the ladies at the gas station didnt even know there was a problem whenb I brought it up to them. Thinking I will by 9.00 worth of stamps anf throw them out, might not be the right thing to do, but it is attempt, right? LOL

I would just burn it up and put the on road stuff in next time. I have only heard of one guy getting busted for this (light duty truck). My guess is, even if you get a recipt for the taxes, they would still fine you. Just the way big brother works.
Yeah, pray you never get your tank dipped!, they will be able to tell you had the "red stuff" in there. I have not been pulled over yet but I have been warned by some of my buddies that they do it up here in Montana, but I dont know what they look for....maybe excessive smoke or something or maybe its just a random thing IDK?
Highly doubtful you will get your tank dipped without a company name on the side up here in Michigan. Dont worry about it, i ran red for awhile when i could and never got dipped, and i had the tank in the back. I will say though, the red fuel takes awhile to get flushed through. My truck smokes, is too tall, makes a ton of noise, and had a fuel tank in the back and i ran 75 all the way up north a few times and passed DOT officers, never once did they pull me over. Excepically in the city, they really should never pull you over. I wouldnt worry about it.
I really didnt think I would, but what bothers me, if i did get it dipped, for a mistake, that would bumm me out, where as if I had done intentionally, well you get what you get. Now this milage thing, if RedBoat is right, no complaints, if he is wrong, then I might just go "red" again.
I had a 71 chevelle years ago, got me for reckless because both tires were spinning, claimed I lost control of my vehical.....good times. hell, wonder what that cop would think if he saw my CC 4x4 PSD breaking it loose...
