mass air sensor problem

I have a 1994 ford bronco 5.0. when ambient air temp is above 85 degrees F the truck loses a significant amout of power. there are no signs of overheating or trans problems. the computer has been checked. when temp is under 85 degrees F (approx). engine performs normally. Could this be a mass air flow sensor problem? or something else. Does anyone have any ideas

It may be the ECTS,for engine coolant temp sensor, that is giving a false or no reading to the computer. The 85 degrees is the magical point where the computer wants to start "seeing" the sensors, one by one, until it can start controlling the engine totally.Check it out before you overheat some pistons.
