4x4 light doesnt come on when pressed
Help please . owner of a 92 EB 351 Bronco. when i press my 4x4 button no light and no noise from tranfer case. I am another AUTO hub causaulty? How can i tell from under the truck if something is wrong? Figures it would die on me after 8 inches of snow.

It sounds like the transfer case shift motor to me. Did you hear a click under the dash on the passenger side? If it is the shift motor, its not too hard to fix. All you have to do is pull it off, take it apart and clean it, and put it back on. A website with good instructions has been posted on here, you should be able to find it with a search. Im 17, without much mechanical experience, and I did it in my driveway in about 2 hours.
