Different front ends
I've been trying to figure out what grill goes with what year of truck, and it seems Ford put several different grills on the same year of truck. Can anybody out there tell me what went on what? Pictures would be even better. Thanks in advance.

Well the easiest basic is the '97 and '98s are even at the bottom with the piece under the headlights, '99-'04 Heritage have a little dip where the grille is. As for the honey comb and egg crate and 3 bar plastic and chrome ones it mainly varies by model (XL, XLT, Lariat) and the L and HD's have even different 5-7 bar chrome grilles.

drj yours came with that grill? that must have been part of the package right?
heres my 2000 5.4 XLT 2wd
, its shiny black plastic, looks real good for a stock grill

mine is steel (or aluminum)...it was all part of the BAJA package from the dealer. (except for the prerunner bumper and lights)
