Do a search of posts by jtharvey and you'll find one about Jeremy's experiences. He seemed to think it was worth it. It's supposed to dampen the harmonic vibrations in the crankshaft better than the OEM one. I guess cost is the only disadvantage.

Cost is the only downside. I got a deal on mine, so it was easier to swallow. Install is not difficult with someone to help you. After having mine, I wouldn't want to go back to stock. Smoother at idle, smoother going down the road. I didn't notice a pickup of any HP, but a small increase probably wouldn't be felt in the SOTP dyno.

I wish! BWD offered me a break on pricing after the price of the Spearco's dropped and I had already bought mine. I think he was offering a price break to anyone who bought a Spearco before the price drop.
