If its a rock Crawl It, If its Mud go around and find a Rock!
Change the plugs, even if they are not old. Check the coil wire for burn-out. Check the dist. cap for moisture. Scrub the throttle bores & plates clean with solvent and toothbrush. This should take care of it.

About 2 years ago I had blow-by in the 5 and 8 cylinders. So I yanked the 5.0 and got my hands on a 5.8 lightning block. I had the shop put in a crain cam (24005) with a lift...intake 458 and the exh. 474 lobe center intake 107 exh.117, GT40
heads and a 1.6 ratio on the rockers TRW forged 10.1 pistons. I'm pushing all this out a E4OD trans to a 3.55 auburn posi rear. So along comes a couple of heart attacks. No work....no spending money on the PIT! I stopped at the Intake manifolds (upper end). So from the computer on up to the trottle body what should I do to get those Damn Horses back in the Barn? I've got decent launch, but it really runs out of **** after that.
