I just bought a used 1998 Ranger XLT and it has an airconditioning duct problem. When I turn on any part of the heating/air coinditioning system it always blows out of the defroster duct up top. I have replaced the control panel with a known good panel and it doesn't work. The truck was in an accident before I bought it and I think there was some windshield damage because when I removed the glove box I found pieces of glass. Can anyone give me some info on how to easily access the controling valve or give me any ideas on how to fix this problem?
