Biggest tires

What are the biggest tires I could put on my '90 302 F-150 2wd with all suspension stock? I've got 33's on there right now. I have an incredible turn radius and no rubbing at all but was wondering if, down the road, i could put bigger ones on there. Also, what sort of lift would i need for 35" if they won't fit stock?

Thanks,

Josh

With no lift 35's won't fit. My 33's didn't fit on stock until I put bumper spacers on. I have a 4" lift on a '95 4x4 and 33 12.50's clear. either tire , the 5.0 will have a hard time driving them unless you change your gears.

Also, I was told by a local tire company here that when you add bigger tires, your
computer has to be reprogrammed to tell it the new size. Hadn't heard of that before, but that's what they said.

That depends on the year of the truck. 92 & newer, yes. Older, no.

I have a '95 and I don't think its new enough to be reprogrammed for bigger tires. I think its for like 99 and newer unless i'm wrong. If its possible, I'd like to do it because i'm running 33 12.50 mt's

I said 92 & newer and I meant it.

Seriously... in 1992, Ford started using a PSOM to control the speedometer. There is a tech article here on how to re-program it for larger tires.

92 & newer... I promise.

well....shoot. What if i went with larger ones in the rear. To give it an aggressive stance? I'm trying to "hot rod" my truck.
