Dogdish Style Hubcaps

I'm sure i'm wrong; but I'll get ya thinking; but doesn't the 15" inner lip ring on the dog dish measure 10.5" & the 14" measure 9.5". So I assume it either for a particuliar rim size.

No F Series Ford truck had 14" rims, and there are several different original hubcaps, what works depends on the wheels you have. There are two basic types of caps, and several styles of each..it all depends how the hubcaps mount...are they innies, or outies?
Innies: 9 1/2" diameter. The hubcaps fit into the wheel centers on protruding tabs. Both painted white with red letters and stainless hubcaps were available
Outies: 10 1/4" diameter. The wheel has a raised flange outside the wheel center, the caps snap on over the tabs on the flanges. Most of these caps are stainless with the letters F O R D arced at the top and bottom, with a raised line through the middle. These hub caps are the same as 1964 Ford Galaxies used (exc. HiPo).

Thank you especially, Bill, because you just saved me some money. I was bidding on a set of the "Galaxy" types when my wheels are the other type (I do really like the way the "outies" look, though). I will be looking for a set of the "innies" now.
