It was nice to finally relax at home and visit with our daughter & granddaughter in from Yorkton for the weekend. I finally got time to cut most of our long grass in the yard with the John Deere.
Looks like tomorrow will be another day off because of the rain so I might get sometime in on the 53.
How was your long weekend?
Cold but good. Sat around at a buddy's cabin at Lake Metigoshe Friday night and had a few beers, then Saturday was another friend's wedding social in Waskada. Sunday came down from the lake to the farm and got in some quality time there, then came back into Brandon Monday.
Mine kinda sucked. I worked nights all weekend. On the other hand, The weather was nasty, so I wouldn't have done much recreation anyway. Maybe it was good.
Mine was good, nothing major but over all a very good weekend.
Saturday worked on the house all day, trying to get all my reno's done so the place isn't such a construction zone.
Sunday the weather was beautiful and had a staff BBQ all afternoon and evening, and the beers were going down great
Monday, lifted the front of the truck another inch so now the 35" don't rub anymore and the front is almost perfectly level with the rear. Aswell as did some more work on the 393 getting back together and ready to go back into the mustang.
All in all, couldn't have asked for a better long weekend!
96sherm, no business for me, but I really should start one so I can write some stuff off and get some of my hard earned money back from the hungy government.
I work for SaskTel and flip houses part time
Progress is always a good thing, there is just never enough hours in a day or weekend
Got the final coats of Red on the 49. Also put the interior and accessories on, if I can get the front fenders done this next weekend, I'll be stooked.
I'm hopin on Canada Day I can get her out for the first time and go see some fireworks with the old gal.
The weekend was good, was up in Saskatoon visiting the Folks. Was hoping the new truck would be here so we could pick it up on the way to Saskatoon, but no such luck. With the stupid rail strike who knows when it will get here.
Mine was good all in all but didn't get much done, funeral on saturday and rain Sunday and Monday so no seeding done. Just have a 1/4 to go so not to bad.

hey that sounds awesome!! are you still contemplating the yorkton cruise night??
Slept in Saturday, Worked onthe school bus stripping out the rear heater system and charging the battery.
Sunday got the bus running and moved on the yard. Then had to come in the city take mother inlaw shopping and off to supper at the inlaws.
Monday rain and lots of it here. Stayed indoors. Had plans to cut metal to make shelves in the bus. But I would be working outside. Right now I have only room at my front door of the quonset. The reason to get shelve in the bus to move things out.
So stayed in the house did laundry and cleaned up around my desk and kitchen , vacuumed. Wouldn't know I vacuumed with 3 dogs and 3 cats all shedding. Gone through some old file folders and throw out some old papers no longer needed.
House still looks like a tornado went through here.
