I have been working my way thru the restraint system and I am at code 46. Driver side belt pretensioner. What is involved in replacing the unit and where can I get one cheap. I have been able to buy all the other parts on ebay but have never seen a pretensioner for sale.
A post from someone who knows a lot about this stuff:

A better fix is to coat the pins inside the connector with dielectric grease before reassembly. In rare cases, if the light continues to come on, it may be necessary to splice in a repair connector and that is more work and expense.
The Restraints Warranty is 5 years/50,000 miles from original delivery. If your truck is within both of those limits, the repair is covered with no deductible, even if you are not the original owner. If you don't know the truck’s delivery date, a Ford dealer service department can look it up on the OASIS computer system.
Guess I should have been more clear. Truck was rearended and not under warranty. I haven't checked yet with Ford dealer on price of pretensioner but I'm sure they are expensive. I am looking for salvage parts to fix the truck.
