well, this depends.... if you go with a spacer on the stock coil spring, then it retains the stock ride.... if you go with a longer coil spring or coil over, then it will obtain a different ride. sometimes stiffer, but not always. some springs now a days have a progressive winding, and that seems to help with the ride.

It all depends on the kit you choose. If you went with the Autospring, for example, your stock ride should not be effected. If you went with one of those poly bushings, like the Daystar, you have to install it on top of the spring... so it adds preload to the spring, and changes the rate at which they compress and recoil. In essence, you have added force to the spring, and your ride will be stiffer and/or harsher.
