Steering wheel position....
After R'n'P rebuilding, my steering wheel is turnes 70 dgr CV, when I drive straight. Pinion was not installed in correct position tor 3 teeth. Need advice. How to correct situation w/o rack and pinion remooving.

Why not pull the steering wheel and center it????

I thought about it, but belive me, it is impossible on '89 aero.... I can turn steereng wheen 180 dgr only. And pinion is designed that I can install shaft in 1 position only.

Well, I think you just answered your own question. You need to either live with it or reset that pinion gear.

reset pinion gear!!!! no way, till no leaks!

Is there a keyway cut inside the wheel? Maybe the solution is to cut a new keyway.

May be, I'm not sure. Ore to center it with turning tie rods....

on my 90 and 91 the steering wheel is just a spline fit. I can take it off and move it in either directions a tooth at a time.........
