My wife and I have found a house and we have been looking into it for a couple of months now. After talking to the owner this weekend, we have decided to take the place and will be moving in a couple weeks. Its a 10 acre place located almost in the middle of my wife's family and my family. It is the perfect place for us and our boys (14, 11 and 8). Its a 3 story farm house, with a 40 X 60 building for my Semi and Trailer, a 30 X 40 barn for our horses, a small pond, some timber. We may also have the ability to by the surrounding acreage in the next few years. Unfortunately, the only internet access that is available there is very slow dial up unless I go to satellite which is very expensive, so I probably will not be around too much from here on out. I'll still check in on the site if I can and will try to keep everyone updated on the 5.9 swap.
Take care guys and thanks for all of your help here.
You can always go with the Hughes net bidirectional satellite system, internet over satellite. That way we could keep you around for a little wile. http://go.gethughesnet.com/HUGHES/Ro....entity.Entity[OID[91908CBE85AD4C428CCD5CDB016B51]]
You might also ask around if anyone provides ground-based microwave internet service in your new area. It's like satellite, but should be much cheaper...
All I have is dial up. Posting and replying in the forum is not too aggravating with dial up, I guess since it's mostly text. You only run into trouble when trying to look at pictures and stuff. The fastest I ever connected was 44kb/s.
