I sent an Xmas card to a dear freind a year or two ago that came back saying changed address. The year before I didn't send him a card but he sent me one and his wife said he had been ill in the card. Now I'm afraid he has passed away. Do you know any way I can find him on the Internet? I'd love to find where he lives. I know some things say they can find him but I don't know if they are just a ripoff.
Man this is great!Another fine thing about FTE,using the links!I just tried the Zaba search and looked up a friend that I haven`t seen in about ten years.I FOUND HIM!We talked on the phone for over an hour! Then I sent him an e-mail and am waiting for his reply.Thanks.

Well, you're welcome. Glad to hear that you found your friend.
try mailing a letter to the post office where he used to live and ask for a forwarding address under the freedon of information act it costs $4 if that doesnt work and you know the wifes name you could check the DMV records of the state.
if you really think he died you can check his name, location, and birthdate against the records kept by the "church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day saints"website google it and they have a death record site for free that can tell you if he died and it spits back his social security number.. you can also look to post on ancestory .com or rootsweb .com these are some of the tricks investigators use
I just Zaba'd an old Air Force buddy and 411'd him as well which also brought up his wifes name which confirms it for me. Listed his number and I will be call him in the morning. Was just thinking about him today. Ain't seen them in 15 years. Thanks for the links!
