Tranny Cooler Line.

I just replaced a laeky Dorman Quick Disconnect tranny line connector. The upper one that goes into the tranny. The 3/8" line should just snap back in and be fully seated. It is leaking worse than before. I can feel it snap in and it won't release without squeezing the tabs. Any idea on how to fix?

I'm not familiar with the Dorman Quick Disconnect, but it sounds like it's got a bad seal inside it (I assume it uses an o-ring).

How about the male fitting, did you replace it as well, and if not did you take a look at it to make sure it's not damaged in any way?

Thanks for the reply. You are correct. The metal line had a small knick at the tip, so it wasn't a tight seal. I used a R&B, Inc. quick fix kit and it solved the problem.
