Billet grille?

What do you guys think of the billet grille, and what do you think it would be like on my truck? I have been contimplating it for quite some time, but afraid it mite look too much like a radiator and not a nice mod....The only thing keeping me from choosing a billet grille is that they done leave any room for the emblem, it looks like hell without some focus on the middle, I want to be able to put my custom black Ford emblem in it customely, what do you guys think? I like the one I have now, the chrome stock version one, it looks shiny and nice, but from up close theres plenty of flaws, the heat is starting to discolor the chrome, and you can see the transmission cooler and radiator.l

I like the flat bar billet, the rest are too guady. It's kind of easy to replace the stock emblem. The studs are hollow, so you would need some washers and small self tapping screws.

If you have the budget for it, "package" grills look the cleanest. I have a stull package, but RDX and several others have come around to the idea.

Personaly I don't like most of the billet grills but some do look pretty sharp.. There are billets that have emblems built into them. You should try putting a black screen behind your grill to help hide the tranny cooler and radioator. Plus it keeps the radiator clean.

Thanks Reax, but a little confused to where that informationb leads to... I hear you Rizvi, I considered that, but to me I am still aovoiding my main issue about my current grille. Its a very cheap grille, all it is is plated chrome, which has already discolored everywhere near the engine, and I cant find any other versions of this grille in a higher quality form, hence leaving me with the notion of going billet

You can plug those part numbers into any driverfx site. They came from the wholesale side of the driverfx program, so you maynot see the same info, but the parts will be there.

oppss, whata dumbazz...Well, I tried today to put a screen behind the grille, it looked nice, but its not rigid enough to withstand wind resistance...so I m going to get that billt grille, hopefully it will look good, its sad theres no pictures of it, I am kind of scared to spend $180 for something I can even see.

I think I am going to go with this one....

I haven't seen that one in person so I don't know what it looks like, but I can say that everything I have ever bought from Lund has been of good quality.
