Please forgive me if this a complete stupid ?, but I am wanting to get aftermarket headlights and are looking at some on Ebay.
They are completely clear, including the corner(signal lights). Would I need to get orange/yellow lights for my turn signal if I have the clear turn signal? Or do I already have an orange bulb under mine now? Husband is making me do research before I purchase all this stuff so any info would be awesome, thanks!
You will definitely need amber bulbs if you go to a clear light housing. You may also want to look into your local laws, as here in IL you have to have an amber reflector at the front corners also, some of the aftermarket slear housings do not have the reflectors.
you can get some silver bulbs that will look great in the turn & corner lights. I dont know what you can get in the US but in the UK we can get 'silvertek' i think there called
they are silver so you wont notice them till you turn them on (orange) and will look cool in the clear lenses.
cannot help on the above post though regarding law
Thanks, it is very confusing to me and I really don't want to get the wrong thing. My headlight covers right now are completely cloudy and I know the clear ones would really crisp it up along with a new grill
I seen ones that had an reflective corner, might just be safe and go with those.
