EVP circuit has intermittently failed above the maximum limit of 4.81 volts.

88 f250 460

the check engine light flashes at high high rpms.

I have a new egr a new egr position sensor. both of them work. I have new vacuume lines to the regulator and from the regulator to the egr.

Is the regulator letting too much vacuume thrue to the egr?
Is there a vacuume bleed off valve?
any other ideas?

Possible causes:

Damaged EVP sensor.
Short to power in harness.
Open in SIG RTN.
Damaged processor.
