C1UB-8743000-B .. Tailgate Hinge

Right and left are the same, and these fit all 1961/67 Econoline pickups.

Believe it or not I googled C1UB-8743000-B and all I got back was one link. I would have thought for sure I would have got many more. Dennis Carpenter gave me a number and name to call so other then that, I am looking for the same thing and hopefully Flashback F100's will have it. If they dont' does anyone know anyone else that does??

thanks

Tailgate mysteries continue

I have what I posted on another forum page...a 1965 Ford Econoline Pickup. I need the tailgate hinges that are at the bottom of the tailgate. As of right now, I have yet to find anything that would work.

Does anyone know of ANYONE that sells them either new or used???? If not, then does anyone have a picture that I could look at as to what they should be so maybe I can start the unwanted task of creating some or making some work that are applications of other tailgate(s).

Does anyone know how I can tell what I have??? StyleSide or whatever the bed/tailgate was called....

thanks

Steve

Made To Fit

The current setup I have on my truck looks as if someone with no body shop work at all tried to make something work. I would think I am going to have to go with another Ford Econoline Tailgate Hinge application and just basically make it work by welding, bondo, sanding, more bondo, sanding and more bondo and then maybe the last bit of sanding.......and then maybe the application I decided to go with will be finished and made to fit.

anyone have any other ideas???

Steve

Can someone tell me the difference between the Styleside Bed and the other two models that were offered back in the 60's? I have a 1965 Ford Econoline PickUp and I can NOT find tailgate hinges ANYWHERE.

SO, I presume the ones' I can find, for Styleside, etc.., I can make work with a lot of elbow grease, BUT, I need to know what the difference is with the beds.

thanks
