fuse keeps blowing
92 bronco 351w, #10 fuse keeps blowing, causing the bronco to act like the injectors need cleaning, this happened once b4 with the powerpoint fuse, but the mechanic cleared the code and i replaced the fuse, and then the trans. was overshifting cuz the code threw it into failsafe mode...but this time the fuse keeps blowing immediately! whats wrong? relay, voltage regulator?

The reason for the blowing fuse could be many things. The first step in locating the problem is to find a wiring diagram, locate No 10 fuse and note all circuits that the fuse supplys power to. Most probable cause would be a wire to one of these circuits that is bare and shorted to ground.

thank you for your response. i assume its not the fuse, because when it happened b4, the codes on the computer made the trans. overshift, then we found out it was a fuse causing the code to be VOE,making the car go into failsafe mode, after the mechanic cleared the code and i replaced the fuse it worked fine that was 2 years ago. this is what happened the tach and battery read out on the instrument panel were out i looked at the fuses replaced the #10, and then it kept blowing and then the car started running like the injectors are clogged, these fuses seem to send the wrong codes to the computer.
