Trying to sell my 1995 Sable but found that the right front turn-signal does not work when the hazards are on but does work with the turn signal...already lost one sale due to this. Need suggestions.
Thanks
would it be visible if I split the plastic housing around the column? With the flashers on the rt. frnt. turn signle won't flash, but the turn signal alone works AND if you turn the rt. signal on while the flashers are going the rt. flasher will work?...think its a loose connection? or internal in the switch?
This may not help, but my '95 Mustang had a similar issue. I hadn't used the 4-way flashers in a long time, and when I did finally turn them on I only had one rear light working. I turned them off, and then back on, and then one of the front lights started flashing along with the rear one. I just kept pushing the switch on and off and eventually they all began working, and have worked fine ever since. I think the contacts in the switch had just become dirty or corroded from not being used and working the switch "cleaned" them up. Just a thought...
