Trailer Running Lights?

Ive have a 02 F250 with a 7 and 4 trailer hookup and any trailer i hook up to ive got everything but running lights so i thought that maybe just the 4 prong was bad so i put a 7 to 4 adapter and still doesnt work ive got a light bar just above the bumper and it had running lights for a while then they stopped working so i was wondering if the is a seperate fuse for the running light on the trailer or something the taillights on the truck work perfect

When I bought my 92 F150 I had similar issues...the fuses were good but still no trailer lights. Under the hood is another fuse box. It's got the mucho bigger fuses. Thats where my problem was.

Before you go thru all kinds of checking, get a meter and check the 7 and 4 pin plugs for voltage!! When you are SURE you have voltage (or don't) at least you know where to look. Truck or trailer.

Go down to the Towing Forum...LOTS of wiring info there.

Also check to see if you have a proper ground. If I remember correctly the ground wire attaches to the D/S Frame rail.
