I know what you mean. This is my first ordered vehicle, second brand new. How long did it take from when the order was placed till anyone got a build date? My order was placed with ford on wednesday may 16 and I haven't heard anything yet. Hope it comes early like some of you guys.

I ordered my 08 KR F250 SRW on april 16 and got my build date on may 9th. I am told my build date will be may 29th with a delivery about two weeks later. All in all about two months. I also saw some posts that the DRW were taking longer to get. I think that trucks that deliver them are part of the delay. You can only fit one DRW on the car carrier. I recall someone posting that they were told 3 months for their F350 DRW that they just ordered a week or two ago.

I LOVE this truck, it is very quiet both inside and out, very comfortable and great to drive!!! I have shown it to alot of people and they all really like it-how could they not?
I left the dealer and according to the lie o meter I started out getting 4.6 mpg, after driving it for two days it was up to 15.6 doing 65 on the hwy, it will only get better. I will be taking a 900 mile trip to Kentucky at the end of the week and will let everyone know how it did. Thanks again superdutyj4500 for the message, Mike

Mine is being built next week so I can only imagine how excited you are to finally get yours. I am interested to hear more about your fuel milage on your trip. Make sure you post it when you get back.
