4R100 limits
does any one know the limits a stock 4r100 can hold reliably? also what would it take to make a 7.3 keep up with or beat a duramax
i am looking at 01-04 d-max or a 99-03 power stroke i like the ford better but know i will want more power soon any help would be appreciated

My stocker held some power for a while, but I had to get a BTS transmission with less than 100K on the odometer. Now this new trans will handle everything I can throw at it.
Put enough power down to the Allison and it will also break. Tranny upgrades are a must with any of these trucks.
