A torch and some penetrating lubricant. Get it real hot and spray it. Can you get a vice grip on it?

Your gonna have to drill that out....I'd start by using a center punch...then drill starting with a small bit and stepping it up a few sizes....using multiple bits..... until you are real close to the threads...then try to pick out the rest with needle nose pliers....not sure if u have enough room for this though....

Are you referring to using wax as a lubricant after welding a washer and nut to the broken stud? It can be a tricky weld when it is below the surface and you really cant get to it. Not that it cant be done. You may have to remove the head. Once removed you can drill away or take it to a shop. Sorry guy

I believe that I can get to it with a drill if I remove the plastic weel well and maybe the shock. Tomorrow Im gonna try the candle wax but gonna use drill and easy-out not weld. Gonna pray that it works. If not I guess its "off with the head", lol. Its been awhile since Ive worked on a truck, so Im gonna pray.

Easy-outs break...so be careful....drilling is safer

If you are able to get a straight shot at it I suggest. 1. a good penetrant (kroil is my favorite) The longer you can wait the better 2 days is good. 2. Get a center punch and get it perfectly centered. 3. Quality drill bits are a must! If you have reverse bits use them. Start small and increase til you are at maximum without drilling out the threads. Many times the bolt will spin out with the reverse bits. If attempting an easy out use the square type and only drill to the correct diameter. I cannot stress the penetrant and quality bits enough. Your problem will be magnafied X10 if you break a bit or worse an easy out. Good Luck Also squirt the penetrant a few times each day.

Well, to all the helpful hints THANK YOU. I just finished working on it (been real busy), got the broken stud out with no damage (thank God). Its all put back together and it sounds much better. I got it out by using left hand drills. I started with a 1/8" then went up to a 3/16" and finally 1/4". While drilling with the 1/4" bit the peice came loose. It came out really east from there. Im feeling pretty good right now. Thank you all.
