Screen Name vs Real

Screen Name vs Real
I don't know why, but I have a real problem associating a screen name with someone's real name. I would hate to admit the number of times I emailed our moderator, Tigger (Dan) using Mike's (3mike6's) email address. It has happened so often that Mike just forwards them to Dan for me. Yet I consider them both good friends. It is just that I know Mike and Dan, not Tigger and 3Mike6.
It is an extra bit of confusion we really do not need.
This becomes important as this week I started sending PMs to people who are members of our chapter, yet have not posted to our forum in some time. I sent a weekly update of the subjects of our threads and suggested they join us in discussing whatever they found interesting. I contacted 106 members.
There have been a few who were posting all along, yet I did not recognize their screen name. For instance, I recognize Karl's posts, but not FastMover's.
FTE provides me a list of members by screen name, but does not give me the real name or email address. It is a privacy thing with them - and a pain in the rear to me.
My worse mistake to date was not realizing Chet is AnOldDog (sorry Chet).
Anyway, please don't take offense if I don't recognize your different names - just consider the source and hope you never get older and forgetful.
If you start receiving weekly PMs from me, just email me and I will take you off the list.

Well, I don't know where you got the Tigger thing from... I use my real name in my screen name, I just have the name of a car before it. Ignore the Tiger part and just focus on the Dan part and you should be okay.
Can't help with all your other problems, however...
Ain't gettin' older fun? Gotta love that CRS...

Hello guys and gals. I guess this is as good a place as any to introduce myself. My screen name Tazo is the name of my 18 year Thoroughbred that I ride on a daily basis. The picture on my avatar is Bandit my 22 year old quarter horse. Oh yea, and my name is Michael and I live in a small town in West Marin County.
