Our sailor is returning from a 9 month deployment (extended 3 months) in June also. I'ts a moving experience to greet the ship when it comes in. You've seen it on TV but there's nothing like being there.

When your son comes home, look him in the eye, shake his hand, and tell him that you know a fellow out in farm country that wants to say "Thank you, soldier." Then grill up the biggest steak you can find and feed him.
