Wanted to know some information on the wiring on the switches. I would take it these were designed for plow, winch etc..
Would it also be possible to utilize a switch to hook up some PIAA front lighting.
Plus, do the switches already come pre-wired excess and marked for easey hook ups. Or would I have to order a wire kit for light hook up directly into the switches.
I just got a new F350 2008 d-crew, and wanted to switch my PIAA lighting from my F250.
Not sure of the set up as I am awaiting order? Help appreciated.
on my 2005 I have one of the switches for my KC lights, works great.
The switches are already wired up and ready to go...the wires for them are by the fuse block.~Gage~
Alexisdakota, on my 2006, the wires were behind the fuse block on the driver's side. Also, if you are going to go for fog/driving lights, there are four more wires in the same location that pass through the firewall into the engine compartment. That should make the install real convenient.
