I have a '82 Bronco. The headliner has all come down. There are no tears in the liner. Can someone pass on how to re-apply the liner? Is there a product to get w/ out having to go to a body shop? Thank YOu for your help.

Don't laugh, but the quickest and cheapest way is to use colored thumb tacks to hold back up to the board. If done neatly, you will end up with a "diamond tucked" look! The other way is to remove the board and glue a fresh piece of material to the board.

Phillip, I saw that on an old Crown Vic one time, it actually looked pretty good!

I realize this was an old post, but I just joined and was reading through looking for my own Bronco problems..

3M makes a spray adhesive that you can use to restore your headliner material. There are 2 grades, a heavy-duty one, and a lighter-duty. You want to use the heavy-duty stuff (last time I checked, it ran between $8 and $10 US per can). Mask off your passenger cabin well - the stuff mists and STICKS to everything. Spray the inside of your truck's roof according to the instructions on the can, and press your headliner back into place.

This stuff isn't hard to work with - you can make adjustments to work out bubbles and wrinkles. It's just a pain to get off anything you don't want it to be on.

If you glue up the old headliner, be sure and clean off old foam material with a stiff brush. The cells in the foam deteriorate and thats what makes the headliner fall down. I've also had good luck using a corduory material for new headliner.
