Sway bar question

Sway bar question
Can anyone with a 99 SD 4x4 tell me if the raised center section in the front sway bar just about hits on the axel housing were the pinion goes in.
I'm thinking that someone before me put the sway bar on upside down.

Mine is flat accross the front. If it looks like it is going to hit, then flip it over, my concern would be when the axle drops, like getting the front airborn, that it would rotate into it. If it is not going to hit then and inch is as good as a mile. Also, mine is a pre 99 so I don't know if the front sway is different between the two, about everything else to do with the axle is.

Mine is also strait across. You should be able to tell if it has ever hit. If not, don't worry about how close it is. Also, if you have a lift and stock drop arms, that will can your angles and could close the gap.

Thanks for all the input,I took it out and turned it over and now it is also straight across and is no longer near the housing,and every thing looks much better.Also after a test ride the thumping noise under the floor on the left side when going over bumps is also gone!
