Talking trans code halp
guys loking at a new truck with trans code u what trans is this .i do pull a good sized load now and then and a 19 foot bassboat 100km at 100to 1100km/h acupal times a year

acupal? Did you mean "a couple"?

Depending on what you mean by "good size load" it may or may not be enough truck. The U code means it's an AOD or AODE.

I thought the AOD got a T code and the 4R70W (truck version of AODE) got the U code.

I inferred from his post he was looking at a newer truck. I don't think Fords used the 4R70W until around 93 or 94.

sorry guys its 95 or 96 ford f150 4x4 good sized load 1/2 ton+ give or take 100lbs
