Rear End/Bumper Camera Installation
My truck is pretty high and I cant see the hoods of compact cars when I back up, often hitting them.
My brother has a 28' RV with a monitor in the dash panel that has a rear camera that he can turn on and off and see when he backs up.
I thought that maybe I could install something similar with the camera going in the trailer wiring hole since I dont have that hooked up.
Has anyone ever heard of this being done to a 70's F150. If so, any ideas and advice what to look for in cameras/monitors?

These are becoming common actually - and are now an option in some new cars. I have thought about adding one to the crew cab - though I haven't looked into it yet.
My uncle installed one on a customers lamborghini and he said installation was pretty easy and fairly cheap (couple hundred if I recall). Search on eBay for lipstick camera or back-up camera.
