I was wondering if I could use plexi glass in place of the glass thats in the tailgate. Mines busted out right now and it was like that when I bought it(tonight) so I don't know if the glass is curved at all. If the glass isn't curved I was going to get a sheet of plexi glass and cut it to fit and attach the track plates to the buttom so it could be rolled up and down. What do you think?? Also anybody know were I can get a tailgate w/glass in Wisconsin? It doesn't have to be rust free, just has to open and close.
Hey Ben_E, plexi-glass sounds like a very good idea. I have a '78 bronco and it dont seem to be curved, acually its flat. Have you ever heard of *** truck? http://www.********.com they have tail gates, check them out and get a free catalog will your there.

I found a place here that has one for $125. Going to pick it up tomarrow, but with my luck it will either be sold by then or it will explode as soon as I put it in. But before I put it in I'll take measurements so when it does explode I can go get the plexi-glass. Thanks!!!
