Talking HPX mod?

I,ve searched for the HPX mod posts but still not getting the info I need.I saw where the thread size is called a #5 boss thread.? Is this actually a 5/16s" thread? thanks ahead of time as i know i will get my answer.

Are you trying to do this on the cheap like I was? I finally bought the SS KCM unit from ITP and can now pretty much forget about that mod. Nothing to go wrong there. I'm sure you will get your answer but I recommend just springing for the SS unit and be done with it. All this JIC and NPT stuff conversion gives me a headache but someone will give you the answer you seek.

Again, I wanted to hose mine for several reasons but ended up getting the SS hard line. That's the way to go. Better is indeed sometimes better.

Soon as Brian gets his fittings, I'll get the BTS Big Oil. It has a line that links one of the outlets to the other pump and so I don't need the HPX.
