Thumbs up nut spliters

Restoring my 82 f-150 pickup, man are those nut splitters handy! half the bolt and nuts on there were so rusted i could get them off with a breaker bar and snipe without stripping the heads on them first.

What brand nut splitter did you get?

The Candle Trick works well on those rusty parts also.

Try using some Kroil on them, that stuff will break anything loose.

I find a grinder even easier than the nut splitter. But in the end, all that matters is you get the little suckers off!

Kroil is a type of penetrating oil. You can get it at industrial supply places. It is probably the best penetrating oil I have found. WD-40 and Liquid Wrench cant touch this stuff.
