Speedo Gears
Howdy. I resently got a good deal on swaping out my 3.54 geared axles with 4.10's Of course now my speedo is off. I looked at the gear in the trans case. It is a 16 tooth. "Wine" colored I believe. I am running 265/75/16's as of now. I was wondering if anyone knows off hand what gear to switch to and if I will have to change the drive gear. If this helps. 65mph is 80mph on the speedo at 3000 rpm according to the GPS.

Thanks. That was some good info to use. With the info I had (which the GPS really helped) I ended up with a 19 tooth gear. Right now at 30 it's right on and at 60 on the speedo the GPS reads about 59.5. SO I think it's close enough. I think I got a good deal off of e-bay on the gear. I got 6 of them (16 to 21) for 25 bucks.
