So after taking the Expedition on a trip this weekend with our 3k lb pop up camper behind I was less than impressed. The truck was sucking wind up the hills and felt gutless. We got 11.4mpg on the way up and 9.7mpg on the way back. The mileage has been dropping like a rock lately and the thing smells like sulfur which is pretty typical of bad catalytic converters. It would also explain why the truck feels like an absolute dog.
So, where can I find a y pipe for this truck? I would rather not have to cut up the factory one, but if need be I will do that. I will be ordering up the Diablosport Predator today and am very excited to get that and play with the computer.

Just eliminating the Cat will not fix your problem.
It could actually cost more in the long run that simply finding what caused it to fail - expecially if you are in a state with emissions testing and visual inspection.
Without knowing the mileage, model, year, etc. hard to give more advice than that.
