Mix and match?
- Can I use the pwr booster/master cylinder from a 78? I know it is better to just get everything off of one donor truck, but I couldn't do that. I can get a booster/master cylinder off of a 78 for cheap. The rest of the stuff I'll pull off of the 71/72. Is the proportining valve off the 71/72 going to work with pwr brakes, or do I need to pull one off of the 78?
- Should I just use the pwr steering that's on the 71/72 truck and bolt the entire front end on?
- Is there a kit to do all the bushings in the front end, or do you have to buy them individually?
Thanks
Don
I don't know about the booster, but i believe the master cylinder would be different. esp if it is for disc brakes and yours is drum.
but if they're both twin i beam the steering stuff should bolt up.

The 1971/72 disc brake proportionng valve is different than the one used for drum brakes.
