By biggest, I'm assuming you mean length. Length wise, I see 5.4's pulling TT in the mid 30' range. What you really need to do is go by the weight as many trailers are coming with multiple slides now and that is where so much weight comes from. I do know that 5.4 will tow a lot though, I have that in my wife's Expy and it is strong! Have fun camping!

Your towing weight limit is somewhere between 6,900 lbs and 9,300 lbs, depending on your truck's config. Here's a 2004 towing guide...http://www.trailerlife.com/downloads/04towingguide.pdf

I went to buy a 33' 11" tt it's gross wgh was 9250 I had a 2001 f250 5.4 and the dealer would not sell this trailer to me because he said I would be way to under powered to pull it with any type of grade and i would not be a happy camper .I looked around got my power stroke now I have a new 35' 5er for the same price .
