The compressor may not be any good...period. If the fittings didn't have caps on them, or the hoses were off, air can get into the compressor, and cause irreputable damage to the innards. On a vehicle, if this happens, and if caught in time...the system can be evacuated. At a junkyard, with hoses detached...the life span of a compressor is very short.

was hack saw it was sealed thats what junk yards do they cut every thing
