I have a dumb question about the high idle mod; I have an 04 Excursion and after researching this topic everything says that to do this mod you just switch 12V to wire 322, which is supposed to be light blue with a yellow stripe. My problem is that I do not have a light blue wire with a yellow stripe in my customer access bundle; I have a yellow wire with a white stripe and a white wire with and orange stripe. I also have the 4 pass thru wires as normal. So my question is: Do I have the high idle circuit; and if so which wires do I connect to? How can I test to make sure? I did have the 294 circuit which is white with a light blue stripe.
A couple of additional bits of info here; in the cab under the dash by the parking brake I have a total of 7 wires; all of them listed in the builders manual except wire 322 LB/Y; I did find a LB/Y wire in the engine compartment right where the pass thru wires are exposed and it is terminated on a chassis ground. Is this wire 322? Did they terminate it because Excursions aren't supposed to have PTOs?
The setup is a little different on the 2003-2004 trucks. The wires were pretty much right where they said they would be, capped off as shown. I was working on my 2004 F-350, though. I don't think the Exs are any different.
