I really, REALLY need some help. PLEASE!!!
I bought a used 84 Full size Bronco last summer, that the previous owner had "converted" from a 302 to a 351 Windsor.
Well that motor died last week, and he has no clue what model year it might have been. All I got is the block-number
#D4AE-6015-AA and a 351 WCP stamp on the motor block. Does anyone know if there's any way to cross-reference those numbers and get an exact model year for that engine so I can get parts to rebuild it? The closest I can come up with is a timeframe, anywhere from 1971 to 1980. And please don't tell me to call the Ford store! Been there, done that--they didn't help either.
Please, if anyone has any ideas, I'd surely appreciate the help. I NEED my 4WD back!!!

Well, that part number you list is a '74 part number. The first letter is the decade and the second character is the year.

D= 70's
E= 80's
F= 90's
