Can't Find PCV valve

I recently purchased a 1994 2wd Ext Cab 5.0 EFI 4r70w Tran MAF with 160k on it.

I can't seem to find the PCV valve. There is a hose that runs from what looks like about 1.5 inch high x 2 inch riser between the oil filler cap and valve cover on the drivers side to the maniflod tubes right at the "Y", which is where I might expect it to be. But there are nothing but hose connections.

The old owners booklet that was in the glove compartment shows a PVC valve located at what looks to be at the top of the manifold assembly in the rear corner on the passenger side.

The valve I just picked up at Federated is a "L" shaped device that looks to plug into about a half inch hole in a grommet and the other end is barbed plastic to fit a hose.

Please is anyone familiar with this ??

Thanks 899.

That's exactly where it was,...........and where I had looked but couldn't see.

And it's really hard to feel for when it's hot from just returning from the parts store.
