Well i just about got the 418 done finally....have been working my butt off for money to finish this project....got a used streetmaster intake that i port matched with the heads....ported the heads...just waiting for a carb...i want something around 800 cfm or around that......im gonna wait until after my grad party when i get more money...i mite as well just purchase a new one...not sure what im gonna do about dizzy yet...just got my c6 rebuilt....was a fun experience for the first time....i just cant wait to get it in my truck...i think the compression is around 10:1...well tell what u think...i have some pics in my gallery....
Just run a duraspark electronic. That is what I run a stock Ford Duraspark ignition and MSD coil. Seems to work for now. I agree with you on the carb. I am running a 750 which I know is way to small. So I am currently looking for something ALOT bigger. Can't wait to hear it run good luck!!!!!!!!!!
