I notice after my radiator was changed that the heat guage moves with some frequency. It moves up in temp when i speed up and moves down when I slow. I was told this could be due to a bad head gasket and told to watch for dropping levels of coolant and to also watch for white smoke at start up. I have noticed neither. Could there be a different reason for this?
Over active ICVR (instrument cluster voltage regulator)
remove the connector to the Temp sending unit and attach a test light or analog Multimeter to observe ther frequency of the electrical pulse.
